What Are Our Favourite Famous People Up To Right Now?
COVID-19 has hit the entertainment industry hard. But some stars continue to shine from their live-streaming screens
Everyone is equal, this pandemic season. Even if it is only in the way that we, all, have to stay home. The stars, too, are not out anymore. They are home, quarantined and live-streaming!
Here are a few of our favourite famous people who are making lemonade out of life’s lemons.
Robbie Williams
This English singer-songwriter has been live-streaming on Instagram, even obliging song requests from his followers all over the world. On what Williams calls “Corona-oke”, he performed his own music, including those from Elvis Presley, Oasis and others. If you have always wanted to watch this ’90s heartthrob perform live, you can do so now from the comfort of your quarantine.
Instagram live stories are available on the platform for 24 hours, but the good people of Twitter have recorded bits of the live stream.

Sam Neill
Kiwi actor Sam Neill from the Jurassic Park movies and from his cameo in Thor: Ragnarok has always been active on social media. But during this corona crisis, he has decided to bless us with more content (read pictures of his adorable pigs). He also posts videos of him sipping wine and talking about it and reading bedtime stories and poetry to keep our spirits up.
HOW ARE YOU ? Trying times indeed. But , this might cheer you up a bit ... anyway that’s the idea. And if it doesn’t... sorreeee. #StayHomeSaveLives Also - I’ve found this helps a lot - I keep informed of course. But I hardly watch the news now - and I feel so much better #Sing pic.twitter.com/F8gzDI435Y

Florence Pugh
Actor Florence Pugh of Little Women fame, through this self-isolation season has been cooking and live-streaming it. Her stories feature her pottering around the kitchen, rustling up simple recipes and chattering away through it all—to her 1.2 million followers. Her cooking videos can be viewed on her story highlights.
Diplo
Thomas Wesley Pentz or, as we know him, Diplo, the American DJ, songwriter and producer (he is one of the three members that make up the electronic dance music trio Major Lazer) is no longer jet-setting across the world and playing to sold out arenas. Diplo has been playing sets and live-streaming living room concerts.
Patrick Stewart
Sir Stewart has been serving us #ASonnetADay this lockdown. Reading Shakespeare to his 1.4 million followers in his dulcet tones, Stewart is truly a thing of joy in these anxious quarantine days.
