India can contain COVID-19 infections by February? Going by the predictions based on a mathematical model, India could contain the spread of COVID-19 by February, according to an expert committee report released on Sunday. The overall COVID-19 cases could reach 1.06 crore with minimum active cases in February, the report projected. However, without mandatory wearing of masks and adequate test-and-trace measures, the projections would not stand, the committee warned, as per The Times of India report.
