Keep Dust And Dirt Off Your Floor With A Floor Cleaner
You get shiny and streak-free floors as well
With so much dust and dirt entering our homes every day, simply mopping the floor with water could be inadequate. A floor cleaner is a must-have if you want to keep your floors squeaky clean.
A floor cleaner can kill germs, bacteria and other allergens, thereby thoroughly disinfecting the surface. Some cleaners can also remove grime and grease from the floor, thus sparing you the task of scrubbing the floor furiously every time you clean it.
Most cleaners leave behind a pleasant fragrance—from lavender to pinewood and lemongrass—after use.
Choose your cleaner
Ideally, the nature of the surface should determine what kind of floor cleaner you need to employ. A tile floor may need a particular kind of solution, while laminate or wood flooring may need a different composition.
You can opt for multi-surface cleaners too. These can be used on a variety of surfaces, from hardwood to marble. It’s advisable to look for ones that can get rid of grease and grime.
Most floor cleaners are highly concentrated and need to be diluted before they can be used. Ready-to-use cleaners, on the other hand, can be used directly and don’t need to be diluted. However, they are more expensive than their highly concentrated counterparts.
Go natural
There are non-toxic, environment-friendly cleaners available for floors and other surfaces. They are mostly made of biodegradable components, can be used on multiple surfaces and do not contain harmful substances such as carcinogens, artificial dyes, petrochemicals or synthetic fragrances. Their composition makes them safe to use even when you have kids or pets at home.
