Vicky Kaushal plays a soldier out for revenge in Uri: The Surgical Strike. Also starring Paresh Rawal and Yami Gautam, the film is based on true events—the attack on Uri in Jammu and Kashmir and theincidents that influenced the operation. The movie hits theatres on 11 January.
M. Night Shyamalan’s Unbreakable trilogy comes to a conclusion with Glass, which releases on 18 January. Starring Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson and James McAvoy, the film is about a security guard’spursuit of a cannibalistic psychopath, leading to a series of supernatural clashes set up by the nefarious Mister Glass.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui will portray Bal Thackeray in Thackeray, a biographical drama based on the life of the Shiv Sena founder. It has been produced by Shiv Sena politician Sanjay Raut and is set for a 25 January release.
